Errant Illumination

Irresistible, benevolent light
brushes against angel-wings.

Intimate debris of forlorn walls,
the quality of blush. Fluidity

lulls azure-tipped shadows —
free-floating dizziness meets

tender halves and wholes —
suddenly, pliable parallel lines.

Kindness smolders on its own.
Accumulations arise — abalone

carvings, mystified moons —
deep wells of old amethyst water.

Our hopes, cherished hues —
all luminescence burning space.
