grandfather’s farm
an Irish garland
wildflowers
deepen.

Voyage to the Fortunate Isles
grace notes from that time
frankincense and myrrh
whatsoever still loves
on a country walk
to new worlds
sur la route.

Petals of our lives in poetry
palace-burners, complete
render an apocalypse
not by bread alone
cautious rebels
enter earth
invisible.
