Far Beyond
Domestic worlds
found natural earthlings
furious, dancing
Odd word exchanges
turned madness into flowers
re-enthralling minds
Congregations replaced
old revolutionary petunias
above the earthly altars
Harder times required
absolute trust in the good
blueness of bodies
Unknown words
followed joy down her arms
just like morning
Soft sighs entrained
beautiful night landscapes
as poems traveled
And meditation filled
the Mississippi Gulf Coast
with all things new
. . . . .
