Still in the Park
Ottawa’s Parliament garden elicits rest and quietly grinds out echoes.
Monuments now required are preserved as public property.
It is for honor. It is for history. It is neutral. It might wear away stones.
The outdoors translates to ข้างนอก. Following this, it amounts
to illustration — a memory of culture — requisite to rewriting history.
It educes power. It evokes custom. It reweaves a social fabric.
It retains and recalls shapes — a circle, a square, a garden. Art remains.
Yet wise souls who yearn for liberation still long for real sage.
